skin talk

hmm.. when we talk about what to apply on our skin, it will result basic, traditional answer cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize. come to question which product to apply for those three steps, there come a bundle of different answers, so do reviews. as for me, i go for clinique.

right on the first place, take the day off make up remover, followed by siblings 1-2-3 steps for skin type no.2 [dry combination] but turnaround concentrate visible skin renewer should be applied between step 2 and 3, next to the dramatically different moisturizing lotion a.k.a ddml [step 3] is its cousin ddmg - G for gel. why do i need both lotion and gel? will be explained in next paragraph. the three tier in pic are, from above, super city block spf40, all about eyes rich and moisture surge thirst relief, and last but not least pore minimizer refining serum. not in picture ; smoothing eye mask, but it did appear in entry http://nourrafie.blogspot.com/2010/01/online-shopping-cont.html

i am clinique fan since i got married to this fella named anis rafie, oh everyone knows who he is. since then, my skin had been classified as type 2 - dry combination, which require me to get ddml instead of ddmg, due to its thicker texture [or should i say heavier?] it went good especially on the first two weeks. i was like to trust clinique with no end because their promise to create a great [perhatikan, GREAT, not just good ok] skin wasn't a lie. i was never happier when hubby said my skin felt smoother ever in just 2 days of application!

wah, sounds good, but not for long. after 5 months, my skin just bored to maintain its tameness. breakout starts and i freaked out. i rushed to clinique counter whereas the SA explained to me that my rebel skin is now become too moist for what texture of moisturizer i had apply onto it all this time! pulak dah. and since it's normal challenge for combination skin, i decide to re-balance and tame it with ddmg. so this answer the above questions.

pore minimizer refining serum tu dah lama x pakai. not that the product is no good or what, but i have to compromize it with my aqua gel texture foundation. i dont know if their texture are just cant be friends. any idea why my finishing will look super ugly cakey if i applied the foundation after the serum??

as for hubby, i, perhaps changed my mind, or cut cost, or easier to find, or whatever the reason is, switched his skin care from lab series to clinique as well. and instead of going for men's, i decided to let him have a complete anti-blemish range. 1-2-3 steps, plus freebies, skin supplies for men scrub, after shave lotion and err... sorry i forget what is the other one, will update later, tihehe~

and not to forget, a tote from clinique. it fall on my hand out of any deals. thanks to SA at aeon bukit tinggi. well that is one good thing you'll receive when you buy this kind of things at slow-market-flow counter than at-the-top-mall counter. last time when i bought my range at midvalley [where i bought bigger and more items] i ended up brought 'em home with typical metrojaya plastic bag. sigh. so now i got all i need, i just have to be discipline, repeat, HAVE TO! jgn malas nour!!
