bw journey [episode: our ORBIT!!]

we’ve made it to #3. yes this is our 3^rd ssc [should i recall; ssc = soft structured carrier] and counting. i will tell you why i am saying this when the 4^th is ready nanti ;)  saya perlu buat review lekas on this one sebab someone is waiting for it – a mama who I never met but we become friends so easily – facebook wonders.

jumpsac orbit corduroy series

#3 sign. yes it makes 3 ssc in hand

it is sooo pink that i cannot explain in any other way then… pink!!]

actually ssc ni diberi by hand oleh maker sendiri, kak syaz, semasa saya join international babywearing walk di mana beliau pon join sekali. jadi tiada ulasan boleh dibuat tentang packaging sebab tak ada pos mengepos involve.

can fit from 8month to 4years old

Kali ni beli toddler size... that explains why tak boleh pakai since newborn. if nak newborn wearing, there is baby size to opt. Chika is almost 2, rasanya it is time to upgrade in sizing untuk provide kan dia a better knee-to-knee support. apapon satu ini sahaja yang saya beli toddler size, dan ia akan kekal begitu. saya prefer more standard size stash supaya adik[s] chika kelak [insyaAllah] x perlu tunggu lama untuk lenjan stash. nampak ke tidak?? berbaloi kan beli bebanyak pon sebab untuk baby yang belum wujud pon dah ada perancangan. sila tampar. haha.

i love this feature sebab boleh adjust strap by just one hand. tapi for this particular ssc, tak kisah lah waist buckle kat tepi dan bukan di tengah pon, i end up wearing it kat tengah sebab kena adjust till the very end. mak bajet ramping! tapi sumpah aih.. tak bohong. kalau tak pecaya tu maksudnya jeles la tu haha. sila tampar satu kali lagi.

waist pocket
the waist padding foam pada asalnya nampak sangat nipis [it really is] tapi bila dah pakai beberapa kali saya lebih sukakan yang nipis mcm ni. tak terasa sangat bila pakai tapi still ampu wearee dengan baik. cuma ketiggian waist padding tu kalau ditambah sikit lebih best atas kemahuan dan keselesaan peribadi hihi.

ada pocket come by default di waist strap/padding. cukup besar untuk memuatkan camera kecilku. eh eh maksud macam kecil pulak. err but okay lah kira besar lah tu boleh muat few items. never try my gnote yet. nanti nak cuba. but i doubt as i found that saiz padding lebih kecil berbanding my other ssc yang ada pocket serupa ini.

shoulder straps comes with safety loop for extra precaution. have discussed this previously in ergo entry.

soft corduroy

this kind of fabby kan.... saaaaaangatlah best! have the oh-so-soft feeling setiap kali pakai walaupon dah paaki few times masih tak dapat lari dari perasaan itu haha over gitu. from the shoulder straps, body panel, waist padding, semuanya sangat menyelesakan. rasa shoulder straps jadi gebu habis, macam nak ramas2!! body panel pulak lembut tak terkata. ah memang best sangat lah senang cakap.

clip adjustable sleeping hood

setiap kali bercakap tentang sleeping hood, suka saya ulang berkali-kali bahawa saya prefer clip. sebab kalau button, we might get too loose, or too tight, sedangkan saiz kepala anak berubah berkadar langsung dengan tumbesarannya. jadi slidable clip macam ni boleh bagi the very right setting semasa pakaikan anak dengan sleeping hood.

it will be fun when it can be detach sebab boleh pakai reverse untuk amik mood berbeza. it is plain at one side with corak on another side. sebelum ni saya fikir meshed sleeping hood is always better but now bila ada regular hood ni, tak sangka chika loves it to bit. asyiiiiiikkk lah nak pakai hood walaupon tak tido. tatau pasai apa??? hihi~

my own personal review:

warning: i cant help myself from NOT to compare with the rest ssc that i own.

this is a toddler size so i dont have a single excuse untuk mengadu tentang fitting nya. sah-sah lah fit chika very-very-very nice in term of height and width of body panel. tapi untuk a wearer myself, i prefer a better/fixed positioned chest strap so that ia tak begitu menguji kesabaran semasa nak pakai. lucky me as corduroy adalah sejenis fabby yang grip, so takde lah chest strap tu lari dari tempatnya, only that kekadang tu terpusing2 bagai. leceh jugak lah rasanya. on the other hand, i feel the shoulder straps are soft yet supportive enough untuk menampung beban seberat 10.1kg while i am feeling weighless still... i am happy ;)

for cosmetic reason, i would prefer pointy shoulder straps end. sedikit tak faham kenapa straps tak dibuat pointy dan tidak pasti apa rational nya kak syaz tak mahu buat pointy. tapi saya sendiri pon tak nampak apa keburukannya ia blunty macam tu, so diam-diam sudah tak payah cakap banyak haha. 

as for jahitan, fuuuu jahitan nya sangat kemas dan teliti. adakah jenis fabric menjadi faktor penyumbang [since corduroy is more grippy, it will stay diam-diam dan senang nak jahit??], saya tak pasti walaupon saya adalah anak tukang jahit [once upon a time] tapi memang saya tak dapat cari stitching flaw walaupon sikit. as for buckles, webbing, and getah pengikat webbing yang digulung selepas adjustment done tu, i have a *bit* lower satisfaction regarding the quality sebab masa pegang at the first time pon i can sniff the different. also kena check selalu on the getah pengikat sebab selalu je sedar-sedar dah meleret2 webbing haku ayun-ayun kat belakang macam orang tak reti pakai ssc. pandai pulak terbukak sendiri maybe masa nak pakai atau masa buat adjustment time to time. tapi i am not saying JS no good, cuma this is my personal preference based on personal judgement. no offense. 

kesimpulannya, i am happy to own another one super soft and comfy ssc. pls take note it is soft corduroy all over it, not only straps, and not only body panel. so,yes, i really need to highlight the word 'soft' as many as i can. dah memang sangat-sangat soft pon! i dont need another reason to love it more.
